Toyota Yaris Cross small SUV breaks cover

The all-new Toyota Yaris Cross Hybrid was supposed to be launched at the Geneva Motor Show. But due show got cancelled, Toyota has rendered the Yaris Cross Hybrid digitally. Yaris Cross is the newest member of Yaris family it will rivial Volkswagen T-Cross in the European Market.

The Compact SUV sits on the Toyota's TNGA-B platform. The car also share many parts from with its hatchback sibling C-HR.

Toyota claims that Yaris Cross is targeted at buyers who are looking for a high driving car with city car practicality. The cabin gets a floating touchscreen display and a digital instrument cluster. In terms of powertrain, the Yaris Cross is currently offered with the 115bhp 1.5-litre petrol-hybrid powertrain. 

The European Market sales are supposed to commence in 2021. Meanwhile, Indian debut of Yaris Cross is unlikely. If it does comes to India , we expect it to cut under the sub-four metre. So it will be Toyota's rival against the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300 and Tata Nexon.
